Bangkok Planetarium & Scientific Museum
Bangkok Planetarium & Scientific Museum (928, Sukhumvit Rd., Phra Khanong, Klong Toey, Bangkok 10110) – the Science Centre for Education widely known as the Bangkok Planetarium has demonstrations on science, astronomy and geography. It consists of five main buildings. Astronomy films, of which themes are always changing every couple of months, are shown in the Planetarium building. Outside of the building is a venue for the ‘Stars and Life’ exhibition. The Science and Technology building presents exhibitions about a variety of advanced technology. ‘The Wonder of Lives Underwater’ show is hosted in the Underwater building. The Nature and Environment exhibitions showcase living creatures and the Sport Science building provides exercise facilities including a pool and football field.
Hours: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm (Tuesday – Sunday). Admission: 40 Baht (adult), 20 Baht (children).
